Nous sommes rentrés du palais Maimun vers 14h avec deux enfants en surchauffe et une poussette pleine de durian achetés sur un coup de tête. La piscine de notre hôtel était presque vide à cette heure, juste assez peu profonde pour que notre fils de cinq ans tienne debout, avec une rangée de transats sous une allée couverte d'où je pouvais réellement le surveiller assis plutôt que debout au bord. Vingt minutes plus tard, les deux enfants étaient plus calmes que toute la matinée, et le dîner du soir s'est passé sans la moindre négociation.
