Best Hotels with Swimming Pool in Paphos for Families (2026)
28 family-friendly hotels with swimming pool in Paphos . Handpicked for families who want the best.
Paphos gets over 340 days of sunshine a year, so an outdoor pool is usable from April through November. The catch: many Paphos hotels market themselves as "adults only" or "designed for adults," which is code for no kids allowed at the pool. We filtered those out and found five genuinely family-friendly hotels with pools where your children are welcome. Queens Bay Hotel at 188 EUR/night is the best budget pick with a kids pool and playground right on Coral Bay Road. Coral Beach Hotel & Resort at 225 EUR/night has the most complete family package with pool, kids club, and playground. At the top end, Alexander The Great at 298 EUR/night sits directly on Kato Paphos beach with a proper kids pool section. All prices are from Booking.com for a family of four in July 2026. For a Mediterranean alternative with a rockier coast and comparable summer pool demand, our Malta pool hotels list is worth a look too.
Paphos is compact and easy to navigate. The main tourist strip along Poseidonos Avenue has everything: restaurants, shops, and the harbour. The Paphos Archaeological Park (UNESCO) is genuinely interesting for kids over 6 who like mosaics and ruins. Coral Bay is the family beach, with soft sand, shallow water, and sunbed rentals for 5 EUR. Getting between Coral Bay and Kato Paphos takes 15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by the 615 bus (1.50 EUR). A rental car costs 20-30 EUR/day and is worth it for day trips to the Akamas Peninsula or Aphrodite's Rock. Eating out is good value: a family meal at a taverna runs 30-50 EUR including drinks. Cypriot meze is perfect for kids who like picking at different dishes. If you want all-inclusive options in Paphos, we have a separate guide for that.

🏊Why Paphos is one of the best pool destinations in Cyprus
Pool quality in Paphos varies more than you would expect. Some hotels advertise a pool that turns out to be a 6-metre plunge pool next to the bar. Others have proper 25-metre pools with separate kids sections, sun loungers with shade, and pool bars that serve food. The Coral Beach Hotel has the best overall pool area: a large outdoor pool with a separate kids section, surrounded by gardens rather than concrete. Queens Bay has a simpler but perfectly functional pool with dedicated kids pool and playground next to it.
The adults-only trend is real in Paphos. At least half the 4 and 5 star hotels along the coast are designed for couples, not families. Atlantica Golden Beach, King Jason, M Boutique, Ivi Mare, Amavi, Cali Resort: all adults only or adults focused. This is actually good news for families, because the hotels that do welcome children tend to invest properly in kids facilities. You will not be competing with honeymooners for pool space.
Timing matters for pool comfort. July and August are hot (35°C+) and pools are crowded. June and September are the sweet spot: warm enough to swim all day, fewer families, lower prices. If you visit in April or late October, check that the pool is heated or at least open. Some hotels close outdoor pools outside the main season, even though the weather is still mild.
Parent's take
We spent a week in Paphos in late June and the pool was the anchor of every day. Mornings at the archaeological park or a beach trip, back to the hotel by 2pm for pool time until dinner. The kids did not complain once about being bored. Having a proper kids pool matters more than the size of the main pool when you have children under 8. The shallow section at Queens Bay was perfect for our 4-year-old to splash around safely while we sat three metres away with a coffee.

Elysium
Paphos
Wonderful
3,022 reviews
Elysium is a Byzantine-inspired 5-star on the Paphos coast with a spa built around mosaic-domed rooms, indoor and outdoor heated pools, a kids club running 9 to 6 and a dedicated path to the private beach section. Family suites are genuinely large with separate parent dressing areas.
From
€524/night
Why families love Elysium
We booked a back-to-back spa morning for both of us while our 8-year-old went to the kids club for a ceramics class and our 5-year-old did a swimming session in the kids pool. Staff in the kids area had names we recognised by day two. The spa itself has the best hammam on the island and the couples treatment room is genuinely designed for 2 people, not a twin bed jammed into a single. The only small issue is the walk down to the beach involves 40 steep steps, doable but not great with a buggy.

Elysium Hotel
Kato Paphos
Wonderful
3,052 reviews
A luxury 5-star beside the Tombs of the Kings archaeological site, with the highest guest rating in Paphos at 9.5. The Angel's Kids Club takes children from age 3 to 12 with themed daily activities, a two-level soft play area, and interactive floor games. A separate crèche handles babies from 4 months. Multiple pools including an indoor heated pool and a kids paddling pool. Full-board with free kids meal upgrade rather than strict all-inclusive.
From
€297/night
Why families love Elysium Hotel
The Elysium is the nicest hotel we have stayed in with children. The kids club was free, drop-off, and our 5-year-old asked to go back every morning. The crèche took our 2-year-old too, which we did not expect from a luxury hotel. The grounds overlook the Tombs of the Kings and the pool area is beautiful. Food quality was excellent, with the kids eating free on our half-board plan. At 297 EUR/night it is not cheap, but the level of service and the sheer relief of having both kids happily supervised made it worth every cent.

Serbellas Boutique Hotel
Kissonerga
Wonderful
500 reviews
A boutique 5-star hotel in the quiet village of Kissonerga, just north of Coral Bay. The pool area is intimate with loungers and Mediterranean garden setting. Family rooms with high chairs and cots available. Playground for kids. The location is quieter than Coral Bay proper, ideal for families who want peace. A car is recommended as the nearest beach and shops are a short drive away.
From
€271/night
Why families love Serbellas Boutique Hotel
Highest rated hotel in our list for good reason. The staff went out of their way for our kids: extra pillows, warm milk at bedtime, colouring books at dinner. The pool is not huge but beautifully maintained, and we never had trouble finding loungers. Kissonerga is quiet, which was exactly what we wanted after long days exploring. Breakfast is a step above other hotels: fresh pastries, local honey, proper coffee. The only trade-off is you need a car for everything. Worth it for the quality.

Apollonia Hotel Apartments
Kato Paphos
Wonderful
329 reviews
An apartment-style hotel with an outdoor pool, a shallow kids' pool, and free pool toys including inflatable obstacle courses and water guns. No on-site slides, but 15 minutes on foot from Aphrodite Waterpark. Apartments with kitchenettes make it the budget pick for families who want to self-cater half the meals.
From
€170/night
Why families love Apollonia Hotel Apartments
The free pool toys were a surprise hit — our 5-year-old barely left the kids' pool for three days. Apartment had a proper kitchen, fridge, and washing machine, so we cooked breakfast and pasta nights, which saved about 200 EUR on food over a week. Management organised waterpark shuttle bookings for 5 EUR per person. Pool closes at 7pm but the playground stays open till sunset. Best-value stay in Paphos we've done.

Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel
Geroskipou
Wonderful
201 reviews
The closest 5-star hotel to Aphrodite Waterpark, a 5-minute walk door to door. The hotel itself doesn't have water slides, but runs a free hourly shuttle to the waterpark in summer and has two outdoor pools with a shallow kids' zone. The beachfront location on Yeroskipou beach means you can pair waterpark days with proper sea swimming.
From
€299/night
Why families love Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel
We booked specifically for the Aphrodite Waterpark walking distance and it delivered. Kids aged 6 and 9 loved being able to come back to the hotel pool mid-afternoon for a quieter swim. The staff organised waterpark tickets at the front desk with a 10% discount. Rooms are spacious with sofa beds for the kids. Buffet breakfast had everything; evening meals at the beachfront restaurant were good but pricey (60-80 EUR for 4).

Minthis Resort
Paphos
Wonderful
905 reviews
Minthis Resort sits 15 minutes inland in the Paphos hills, built around a restored 12th-century monastery with spa treatment rooms in the cloister and family suites in the adjacent modern wing. Pools run infinity-style over the valley and food is cooked from the on-site farm garden.
From
€360/night
Why families love Minthis Resort
Minthis is the spa-first choice in our list. Less beach, more mountain air, and the spa uses carob oil and local vine extracts you do not get at the coastal hotels. The kids programme is smaller but the vineyard tour and the horse riding stable nearby filled two afternoons. Our 5-year-old preferred it to the bigger resorts because she had more adult attention. The 15-minute drive back to the beach is a minor cost for the quieter setting.

Louis Paphos Breeze
Paphos City
Wonderful
500 reviews
Louis Paphos Breeze is a four-star resort in Geroskipou, three kilometres east of Paphos harbour. The property has a dedicated children's pool, a baby corner in the buffet, and family rooms with separate sleeping areas. Cots and highchairs are free on request.
From
€627/night
Why families love Louis Paphos Breeze
This is a genuinely baby-aware resort rather than a marketing exercise. The kids' buffet at breakfast includes pureed fruit, plain pasta and unsalted vegetables, the pool deck has shaded baby-changing tables, and the babysitting service is bookable by the hour with vetted local sitters. Worth knowing: the sea-facing rooms get morning sun, which can be tough on baby naps, so request garden side.

Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos
Kato Paphos
Wonderful
385 reviews
The full-package all-inclusive resort in Paphos. Six themed restaurants with à la carte menus, five bars serving unlimited premium branded spirits, and over 150 daily activities. Five lagoon-style pools with waterfalls, water slides, and zero-level entries for toddlers. Three dedicated kids programmes: Little Monsters for young children, Olympic Soccer Academy, and a Teenz Club. Seven nightly musical shows. This is what 587 EUR/night buys you.
From
€587/night
Why families love Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos
Olympic Lagoon is not a hotel, it is a self-contained holiday. Our kids did not ask to leave the resort once in six days. The Little Monsters club was genuinely good with trained early years staff, and the teens programme kept our 12-year-old busy until 10pm. We ate at a different restaurant every night without paying extra. The lagoon pools with their Mayan temple feature and water slides were the highlight. At 587 EUR/night for a family of four, it costs more than twice the Mayfair. But everything is included and the quality is noticeably higher. If your budget stretches, this is the one.

Azia Resort & Spa
Chlorakas
Wonderful
599 reviews
A 5-star resort on the Chlorakas coast that takes family services seriously. Three age-specific clubs: a baby crèche from 6 months, a kids club for 2.5 to 12-year-olds running 9:30am to 4pm daily, and a teens club until 11pm. Half-board and full-board packages available with all-inclusive upgrade. The spa offers treatments designed for children alongside the adult menu.
From
€258/night
Why families love Azia Resort & Spa
Azia was the only resort we found in Paphos with a crèche that accepted our 18-month-old. Two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon gave us actual downtime. The older kids club was well-organised with themed days and a kids disco at 8:30pm. The pool is not huge but the kids section was shallow enough for our toddler. Food quality was a clear step up from the 4-star resorts. Our only complaint: the beach across the road is pebbly, so the pool was the main swimming spot.

Queens Bay Hotel
Coral Bay
Wonderful
4,267 reviews
Sits right above Coral Bay beach with direct staircase access to the sand. The outdoor pool has a separate kids section, and the beach below is shallow enough for toddlers to wade safely. Rooms on upper floors get full sea views over the bay.
From
€188/night
Why families love Queens Bay Hotel
Queens Bay was our best-value find in Paphos. The room was basic but clean, and from our balcony we could see both the pool and the beach below. Mornings we walked down the hotel steps to Coral Bay, grabbed loungers, and the kids were in the water within minutes. The beach bar did decent toasties and fresh juice. At 188 EUR per night for a family of four, we could not argue with the location.

Coral Beach Hotel & Resort
Coral Bay
Wonderful
1,905 reviews
A 5-star resort on its own private sandy beach at the northern end of Coral Bay. Seven restaurants, a large outdoor pool, kids club for ages 3-12, and an indoor play area. The private beach section is groomed daily and has shallow water ideal for young swimmers.
From
€225/night
Why families love Coral Beach Hotel & Resort
The Coral Beach Resort felt like a self-contained village. Our kids spent mornings at the beach (the hotel section is roped off and cleaned, so no cigarette butts or broken glass), afternoons at the kids club, and evenings exploring the different restaurants. The buffet had a dedicated kids station at child height. At 225 EUR for a 5-star beachfront, it punches well above its price point. Only downside: it is a 10-minute drive from Paphos town, so you need a car for evening outings.

Alexander The Great Beach Hotel
Kato Paphos
Wonderful
1,063 reviews
A beachfront 4-star on Poseidonos Avenue with its own crescent-shaped sandy beach. The kids pool is separate from the main pool, and the kids club runs arts, crafts, and beach games daily. Walking distance to the harbour promenade and restaurants.
From
€298/night
Why families love Alexander The Great Beach Hotel
The Alexander sits right on the Kato Paphos promenade, which made evenings easy. Kids finished dinner at the hotel buffet, then we walked along the seafront to the harbour for ice cream. The beach is small but well-maintained, and the kids club kept our 6-year-old entertained while we read by the pool. Staff remembered our room number by day two, which sounds small but made everything smoother. The only catch is the price: at 298 EUR it is not cheap for a 4-star, but you are paying for the location.

Wonderful
4,420 reviews
A large 4-star resort in Yeroskipou with a private beach section on SODAP Beach, one of the sandiest stretches south of Paphos. Nine restaurants, a full spa, and a big pool area. The beach is sandy, wide, and less crowded than Coral Bay.
From
€343/night
Why families love Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa
We chose Cypria Maris specifically for the SODAP Beach location, and it delivered. The beach was quieter than Coral Bay, the sand was soft, and there was space to spread out without towels overlapping. The hotel has so many restaurants that we never ate at the same one twice. The spa was a bonus after the kids went to bed. At 343 EUR it is at the top of 4-star pricing, but the beach quality and dining variety justified it. The only negative: Yeroskipou is a 10-minute taxi ride from Paphos harbour, so evening outings require planning.

Elysia Park
Kato Paphos
Wonderful
2,313 reviews
A modern 4-star complex with an outdoor pool, spa access for parents, kids' outdoor play equipment, and shuttle access to Aphrodite Waterpark (12 EUR round trip). No on-site slides but free inflatables in the pool. The balance of parent amenities (sauna, spa) and kid-friendly features (kids' meals, play area) makes it the pick for families who want downtime too.
From
€189/night
Why families love Elysia Park
We liked that it felt like a proper resort rather than a tower block — lots of garden space and several small pool areas rather than one big one. Staff brought a highchair and cot without us asking. The spa has a family-hour slot on Sundays (10am-noon) where kids can use the sauna with parents. Walk to the harbour takes 20 minutes or a 5 EUR taxi. Only downside: pool music can be loud until 6pm in high season.

Wonderful
1,930 reviews
Coral Beach Hotel & Resort sits on a private sandy beach on the north Paphos coast, with a dedicated kids pool, 7 restaurants, and a spa offering Ayurvedic and Mediterranean treatment menus. All-inclusive and half-board packages both work for family spa breaks.
From
€305/night
Why families love Coral Beach Hotel & Resort Cyprus
We stayed on the all-inclusive because it included the kids club lunch, which saved us the food budget for the spa treatments. The hotel spa is smaller than Elysium but treatments are equally good and prices are 20 euros lower per session. The sandy beach is the big draw. Our 8-year-old wanted to spend all day building sandcastles with hotel staff bringing iced water, and we slipped out for spa windows. It ran like a clock.

Annabelle
Kato Paphos
Excellent
500 reviews
A landmark 5-star hotel on Poseidonos Avenue in Kato Paphos with tropical gardens stretching down to the sea. The pool is set among mature palm trees and bougainvillea. Family rooms and suites with connecting options. Kids club runs in summer with supervised activities. The hotel has a private beach area. Three restaurants including a Mediterranean terrace. Walking distance to Paphos harbour and the archaeological park.
From
€281/night
Why families love Annabelle
The Annabelle feels like old-school Mediterranean luxury without being stuffy about kids. The gardens are gorgeous and the pool setting under palm trees is genuinely relaxing. Our kids loved the garden paths and the little stream running through the grounds. The kids club kept them busy while we had a proper lunch at the terrace restaurant. Rooms are large by Paphos standards. The private beach area is pebbly but has sunbeds and a small pier for jumping in. At 281 EUR/night it is not cheap, but the overall quality makes it feel earned.

Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel
Yeroskipou
Excellent
1,260 reviews
Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is a 4-star family resort in Yeroskipou, on the coast 4 minutes' drive from Elea Estate Golf Club and 18 minutes from Aphrodite Hills. The resort has its own beach, kids' club, kids' pool, children's playground and 5 restaurants. It books up early for the May to October peak. The Constantinou Bros chain runs four Paphos hotels and shares a concierge golf desk across all of them.
From
€320/night
Why families love Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel
Six nights with two kids in connecting rooms. Connecting rooms aren't formal interconnect doors but two adjoining rooms with a shared corridor patio, so it works for kids over 5 but not toddlers. The kids' club takes 4-12s in proper age bands and includes a pizza-making session twice a week. The children's playground sits between the two pools and has shaded structures, which matters in July. Elea Estate is a 4-minute drive: we were on the tee by 7:15 and back by 12, both days. Beach is sandy here, unlike Kato Paphos.

Excellent
609 reviews
WellClub runs a small kids club (ages 4-11, cap 15 kids) in a dedicated room next to the main pool, open 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm. The two pools include a shallow kids pool with a mushroom fountain. Sea views from the upper floors reach all the way to Coral Bay.
From
€225/night
Why families love WellClub Resort - Wellness & SeaView Suites
Smaller and quieter than the big resorts in Kato Paphos. Staff know your kids by day two. The walk into town is 25 minutes along the coastal path — doable with older kids, tough with a buggy. Food is buffet-only but the kid-friendly buffet is genuinely aimed at children (mild flavours, pasta, chips, fresh fruit). No water slides, which the 8-year-olds noticed; the 5-year-olds did not mind.

Leonardo Cypria Bay
Yeroskipou
Excellent
2,598 reviews
Leonardo Cypria Bay runs the most structured kids club in Paphos: mornings 10am-12pm (crafts, treasure hunts), afternoons 2pm-5pm (pool games, sports), mini-disco 8pm, ages 4-12. The resort sits beachfront in Yeroskipou, 4 km east of Paphos centre, with 5 restaurants and a direct path to the sea.
From
€307/night
Why families love Leonardo Cypria Bay
Big machine, but it works. The animator team is 8 people, so the energy is consistent all week. Our 5-year-old was coming back with face paint every day. The 8-year-old discovered the Teen Zone (13+) was off-limits and pouted for a day, then joined the pool tournament and got over it. Food is the weak point: 5 restaurants but the 3 à la carte slots fill up on day one, so book immediately.

Excellent
423 reviews
Aphrodite Hills Hotel is the anchor of a full resort village with its own car-free centre, multiple pools, a crèche for babies and toddlers, a kids club for 3 to 12, and a full-scale spa complex with hammam and thermal circuit. Golf course and tennis complete the package.
From
€400/night
Why families love Aphrodite Hills Hotel and Resort
The village layout was the star: our kids could bike between the crèche, the pool and the ice cream stand without us walking them. Crèche took our 18-month-old on day 2 from 9 to 12:30, allowing us our first couples treatment in 18 months. The spa is the largest on this list and the one with the best hammam for parents who want a proper steam. Resort is big, so pick a room in the main hotel wing not the far villas unless you specifically want isolation.

Louis Ledra Beach
Yeroskipou
Excellent
220 reviews
Louis Ledra Beach is a four-star beachfront resort on Theas Aphrodites Avenue in Yeroskipou with sea-view family rooms and connecting family suites that sleep up to five. Three restaurants, beachfront pool deck and a spa centre. The Yeroskipou seafront is quieter than central Kato Paphos but a 15-minute walk along the promenade brings you into the harbour zone.
From
€1125/night
Why families love Louis Ledra Beach
Seven nights in late August with our 6 and 9-year-old. The connecting family suite worked well — kids in their own room, our balcony with sea view, sliding door between. Beach is right outside, no road to cross. The 9-year-old made friends in the kids splash area and stayed in the pool for hours. Yeroskipou felt more local than the Almyra strip and the prices in the bars outside the hotel were noticeably lower. Spa was a parent perk on day 5.

Almyra
Kato Paphos
Excellent
1,115 reviews
Almyra keeps its kids club small: 15 kids max, ages 4-11, morning sessions only (10am-12pm), plus a dedicated baby and toddler suite (the Baby Go Lightly programme includes cots, steriliser, baby monitor). It is a boutique 5-star, quieter than the big resorts, 10 minutes on foot to Paphos harbour.
From
€394/night
Why families love Almyra
Best choice if you want design-hotel polish without losing the kids programme. The Almyraspa offers parent-and-child back massages which sounds ridiculous and is actually lovely. The 3 pools include a shallow plunge for toddlers and a proper 25m lap pool the adults can use at 7am. Food is above average (Mosaiko restaurant is legit). Downside: the club stops at noon, so afternoons you are on duty.

Theo Sunset Bay Hotel
Kissonerga seafront
Excellent
3,658 reviews
A 4-star seafront hotel in Kissonerga, 150 metres from a sandy beach, with an infinity pool, hydromassage jets and a fenced children's playground on the terrace. Mini golf and a dedicated kids' pool sit next to the main lawn.
From
€222/night
Why families love Theo Sunset Bay Hotel
We picked Theo Sunset Bay for the playground-plus-beach combo, and it turned out to be our best value stay in Cyprus. The playground is small but fenced and right next to the pool deck, so you can sit with a coffee and watch. Kids' pool is shallow and warm. The beach below is a 5-minute walk down stone steps — manageable but not great with a buggy. Food is mostly fine, not spectacular.

Anemi Hotel & Suites
Paphos
Excellent
2,908 reviews
Anemi Hotel & Suites is a modern 4-star in central Paphos with rooftop pool, a compact spa with hammam, and 3 swim-up suites on the ground floor. It sits 10 minutes walk from the harbour restaurants and the Mosaics archaeological park.
From
€283/night
Why families love Anemi Hotel & Suites
We did Anemi as the city base after 4 days at Aphrodite Hills for a change of pace. The suite with private pool access was the highlight for our kids (swim before breakfast, swim after dinner). The spa is smaller and does not have a kids club but the babysitting network they use is professional and the hammam is genuinely good. Better for families with older kids who can read quietly while parents do the spa. Not recommended for under-5s without a nanny.

Atlantica Akteon
Chloraka
Very Good
442 reviews
A 4-star family resort in the Akteon Holiday Village on the Chloraka seafront, with two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, a dedicated kids' pool and a large children's playground. Evening entertainment and a mini disco run through the high season.
From
€329/night
Why families love Atlantica Akteon
This is a proper family village, not a boutique stay — three pools, a big playground, and a mini disco our 5-year-old refused to miss. The kids' club runs in Greek and English and focuses on arts, games and pool time. Rooms are dated but clean and the family apartment has a separate kids' room with bunk beds. Big drawback: the buffet is chaotic at peak dinner hours.

Mayfair Hotel & Gardens
Kato Paphos
Very Good
1,319 reviews
The Mayfair runs a genuine all-inclusive programme with rotating themed buffet nights (Greek, Italian, Asian, BBQ), a snack bar open until 5pm, and drinks from 10am to 11pm including cocktails and local spirits. The jungle-themed Aqua Splash water park has slides for kids aged 2-14 and operates April through November. Three freshwater outdoor pools plus a heated indoor pool for cooler days.
From
€217/night
Why families love Mayfair Hotel & Gardens
The Aqua Splash kept our 6-year-old busy for hours while we sat poolside with actual cold drinks that were included. The buffet had a decent kids section with pasta and nuggets every night, and the themed dinners broke the monotony. Rooms are basic but clean. The kids club ran crafts and games from 10am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 5pm, and the mini disco at 8pm gave us 90 minutes for a quiet dinner. For 217 EUR/night all-in with two kids, we could not find better value in Paphos.

Pandream Hotel Apartments
Kato Paphos
Very Good
320 reviews
Pandream Hotel Apartments is a three-star self-catering apartment block on Posidonos Avenue with one and two-bedroom apartments, all with kitchen, dining table and balcony. Pool and small play area on site. The walk to the seafront promenade is two minutes downhill.
From
€426/night
Why families love Pandream Hotel Apartments
Six nights in February with three kids aged 3, 6 and 9. The two-bedroom apartment had a real kitchen — fridge, hob, microwave and dishwasher — which made the trip cheaper and easier. The toddler kept his usual breakfast routine. Pool was outdoor only and unheated, so February was too cold for serious swimming, but the apartments are bookable year-round at low prices. The 6-year-old loved the play area. Best value of our picks.

Kapetanios Aqua Resort
Coral Bay
Very Good
210 reviews
A purpose-built family resort in Coral Bay with an on-site aqua park featuring six water slides, a lazy river, and a jungle aqua tower. All-inclusive covers buffet meals, local drinks, and pool bar snacks. Studios and one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes give families more space than a standard hotel room. Coral Bay beach is a 5-minute walk.
From
€225/night
Why families love Kapetanios Aqua Resort
The water park made this resort for our kids. Six slides, a lazy river, and a splash area for the little ones. Our 8-year-old went down the slides repeatedly for three days straight. The apartments were a bonus because we could make snacks in the kitchenette even though all-inclusive covered meals. The kids club and playground filled the non-pool hours. Coral Bay beach was walkable and had proper sand, which was a relief after reading about Paphos pebble beaches.
💡Tips for picking a family hotel with pool in Paphos
- 1Book a hotel in the Coral Bay area if your kids are under 10. The beach is sandier, the water is shallower, and the hotels are more resort-oriented. Kato Paphos is better for older kids and teenagers who want restaurants and nightlife nearby.
- 2Check whether the pool has a dedicated kids section. Some Paphos hotels have a single pool with no shallow end, which is fine for swimmers but stressful with toddlers. Queens Bay and Coral Beach both have separate kids pools.
- 3Bring reef shoes for rocky beaches. Paphos beaches outside Coral Bay are pebbly, and the sea entry can be sharp. The hotel pool becomes even more valuable when the beach is uncomfortable for small feet.
- 4Visit Paphos Archaeological Park in the morning before it gets hot. Entry is 4.50 EUR per adult, free for under-18s. The Roman mosaics in the House of Dionysus are genuinely impressive and the outdoor setting keeps restless kids moving.
- 5For a day trip, drive to Lara Bay (45 min from Coral Bay) to see the sea turtle nesting beach. The road is unpaved for the last stretch so a basic SUV or high-clearance rental helps. Pack your own food as there are no restaurants.
