The swings at Pakaya Inn were nothing special, which turned out not to matter at half past five when both children had been in the car since Kariakoo and needed twenty minutes of running before food. We drank chai on the sun terrace, the four year old made a friend from the next room, and the a la carte breakfast the following morning arrived with pancakes and mango while the garden was still cool. Small hotel, correct hour.
